The following Wisconsin Public Radio article reports the concerns of the Wisconsin Association of School Nurses about state funding of schools. Yesterday I completed the draft of a flyer my campaign is printing. Both address the same point. I would though only add, “We have a legislature that has been negligent in their duties.”

“Lawmakers did not act on a proposal to allow school districts to receive all federal Medicaid funding reimbursed for school-based services, like physical therapy and skilled nursing. It’s a change proposed by Gov. Tony Evers in his 2023-25 state budget.”
