We soon forget our common history. When thinking about public policy decisions currently impacting us its not a bad idea to understand who made them. Then, we can begin to understand why. Too easily we blame both parties for our common problems. But the reality is that both parties really do offer different choices. Since 1994 the republicans have held the state assembly for all but two years. That’s right. The GOP has made the policy decisions under which we live in Wisconsin for 28 of the last 30 years.
